You have First Nations artists on the gallery wall, but who is printing the program?

The arts is not just the artists, in Australia it’s a $67 billion industry that includes many sectors from HR & recruitment, insurance & broking, environmental services, office supplies and more.

Social procurement can play a role in helping the arts and cultural sector to increase its impact. That’s why we are excited to announce our upcoming second arts and cultural precinct procurement Black Coffee on February 24, 2026n in partnership with QPAC.

Who is the event for? It’s for both buyers (arts organisations) and suppliers (Indigenous businesses)

The specific sectors that we think are most relevant include –

  • Construction & facilities management
  • Professional services
  • Printing & publishing
  • Transport & logistics
  • HR & recruitment
  • Insurance & broking
  • Security services
  • Environmental services
  • Education & training
  • Office supplies
  • Health & safety
  • Travel & accommodation

Black Coffee brings Indigenous businesses together with supporters to network and connect. If you know an arts/cultural organisation in South East Queensland, or an Indigenous business in any of the sectors above, please let me know about this event.
