Brisbane Black Coffee
Co-hosts: Powerlink Queensland, GaWun Supplies & BLAQ DIAMONDS Women Empowerment.
This gathering is a great example of the 2026 Indigenous Business Month theme, Local and Connected, happening in practice — bringing First Nations businesses, industry and community together through genuine relationships and opportunities.
We would particularly like to encourage our Purple Army members to attend. Jess, John and Bec from Powerlink are also valued members of our Purple Army, and our ongoing relationship with Powerlink demonstrates a shared commitment to strengthening relationships with First Nations businesses and communities.
The morning will provide an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous Business Month while creating a relaxed space for First Nations businesses to:
- connect and network with one another and with Powerlink Queensland;
- build new business and industry relationships;
- explore potential procurement, partnership and collaboration opportunities;
- reconnect with members of the Purple Army; and
- celebrate the strength, capability and contribution of First Nations businesses.
We see this as more than a networking morning. It is an opportunity to continue building meaningful connections between Powerlink Queensland and the First Nations business sector and potentially open the door to future relationships and partnerships.
