As Queensland sees a welcome rise in COVID-19 vaccination rates, we will no doubt see an opening of state and international borders. This opening raises lots of questions for the small business community, in particular the Indigenous business community. In addition to networking, the October Black Coffee Logan will be a Small Business Information session. Sponsored by NIAA the information session will look at COVID and small business – the importance of vaccination, and employer rights and responsibilities. With representatives from the health sector, come along and get your questions answered.

How do I start a business? What do I need to grow my business? How are the challenges I face as a business owner here in the Torres Strait Islands? These are just some of the questions we will be exploring on our One Business Introduction Day on the 21st of October.

Join Lola Digital Founder Kantesha Takai and other One Business trainers for the first Black Coffee event on Thursday Island. We’re also celebrating Indigenous Business Month!

All Black Coffee attendees are welcome to stay on for activities throughout the rest of the day.
