SUMMARY:Darwin\, Black Coffee
DESCRIPTION:Darwin\, Black Coffee \n\nDuring the entire month of May\, Black Coffee Indigenous Business Network will turn purple on a national scale. \nThe month of May marks Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in Queensland\, an annual initiative to raise community awareness of domestic and family violence and coercive control\, and the support services available. Here at BC HQ we are proudly supporting the nationwide campaign and hard work of GaWun Supplies by elevating awareness via the Black Coffee platform and strong mob networks. \nEvery Black Coffee gathering will turn purple to support and raise awareness. To get behind this incredibly deadly & brave campaign we urge you to support and purchase the purple shirt for change or wear a purple shirt to your May Black Coffee event! \nBlack Coffee is a grassroots First Nations business networking opportunity held in regions across Australia each month to provide a platform to connect micro and small business owners. First Nations business owners\, professionals\, and their supporters are invited to get together and have a yarn. \nImpact North is a community of social entrepreneurs committed to creating positive social change in Northern Australia. As a network\, we exist to connect passionate for-purpose leaders across the region. We run online events\, share resources\, hold support circles and keep you up to date on the best opportunities across the sector. \nELP is excited to collaborate with Nicole Brown\, a trailblazing Indigenous business woman born and raised in Darwin. We will be spending a relaxing morning with Nicole\, engaging in an enlightening conversation over tea. The discussion will revolve around Indigenous social enterprises in Darwin\, offering a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of these important initiatives and understand their role in the local community. \n\nWhen: Wednesday May\, 29 2024 at 8:30 am – 9:30 am \nWhere: Aboriginal Bush Traders Shop 4\, 19 The Mall\, Charles Darwin Centre (Opposite Tourism Top End)\, Darwin\, NT\, 0800. \nRSVP: Please register via the link as some catering for the gathering is provided. \nDress: Please wear something purple to support the awareness initiative \n \n  \n
