SUMMARY:At Capacity - Origin Energy Roma Black Coffee
DESCRIPTION:Origin Energy Roma Black Coffee \nDuring the entire month of May\, Black Coffee Indigenous Business Network will turn purple on a national scale. \nThe month of May marks Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in Queensland\, an annual initiative to raise community awareness of domestic and family violence and coercive control\, and the support services available. Here at BC HQ we are proudly supporting the nationwide campaign and hard work of GaWun Supplies by elevating awareness via the Black Coffee platform and strong mob networks. \nEvery Black Coffee gathering will turn purple to support and raise awareness. To get behind this incredibly deadly & brave campaign we urge you to support and purchase the purple shirt for change or wear a purple shirt to your May Black Coffee event! \nBlack Coffee is a grassroots First Nations business networking opportunity held in regions across Australia each month to provide a platform to connect micro and small business owners. First Nations business owners\, professionals\, and their supporters are invited to get together and have a yarn. \nMeet our Black Coffee hosts: \nAt Origin Energy\, we’re committed to creating a culture of respect and inclusion across all parts of our organisation.  As a leading energy company\, we have engaged with First Nations peoples over many years. Through our RAP\, we are showing our commitment to participating in Australia’s reconciliation journey and shifting from awareness to action through targeted activity across learning\, spending and employment. We’re committed to increasing the participation of First Nations businesses in Origin’s supply chain of goods and services. We have found new opportunities and continue to encourage our major contractors to share our commitment to reconciliation through negotiating Indigenous Participation Commitments (IPC) into their contracts with Origin supporting our Indigenous Procurement Strategy. \nWhen: Wednesday May 22\, 2024 at 7:30 am – 9:30 am  \nWhere: Origin Energy Office –  1 Alfred Street Roma  \nRSVP: Is a must below as light refreshments are provided \nDress Code: Wear Purple for Change
